POSITION DESCRIPTION – SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

DecuSoft is looking to hire a professional Sales Development Representative (SDR) who can convert prospects into sales opportunities, manage initial stages of the sales process both on the phone and in initial technology demonstrations, be proactive to further build pipeline for the DecuSoft, Inc. sales team, and use CRM and marketing automation systems to report on lead velocity and pipeline creation.

 

Reports to: Director of Marketing

 

Strategy and Planning:

  • Work closely with the sales/marketing team to leverage the marketing automation and CRM platforms

  • Prospect and engage potential clients who express interest and desire in our offerings

  • Qualify marketing leads through initial discovery conversations with the aim to convert into opportunities.

  • Work closely with Sales Executive to identify prospects with the greatest revenue potential

  • Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns to generate engagement with “high potential” prospects

  • Drive attendance and conduct follow up for all events attends or sponsors (e.g. trade show) or produces (e.g. webinar, thought leadership event, comingling customer/prospect events).

  • Nurture ongoing relationships to position DecuSoft as vendor of choice

  • Regularly report on quantity, velocity and conversion of marketing leads and sales opportunities

 

Personal Attributes:

  • Ability to develop a professional rapport and collaborate effectively with sales and marketing teams.

  • Excellent oral and written communications, including the ability to effectively present information to top management and executives (internally and externally) as required.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and make decisions with minimal supervision.

  • Minimum of two year’s work experience in a sales or marketing capacity, ideally at a software company
