Decusoft is a premier developer of configurable, web-based software solutions including COMPOSE, our award-winning compensation management software. COMPOSE is a specialized compensation software solution that automates and streamlines the administration of complex variable pay programs including Merit, Bonus and Short/Long–term Incentives, equity, deferrals, Carried Interest, etc. We are seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst that will gather client requirements and coordinate the work of technical personnel to configure, brand, and implement COMPOSE.

 

The Senior HRIS Analyst will also ensure that clients achieve maximum return on their investment and help reach their strategic goals by promoting compensation best practices. This role will form part of the Professional Services team but will also work closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management and Support departments in different capacities. To be effective and persuasive in this position, a strong technical aptitude is needed, including a general knowledge of standard compensation practices. The ideal candidate must quickly become an expert on our COMPOSE product and services as well as our internal implementation process. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to do product demos, strong organizational skills, in addition to solid experience with managing software projects, preferably in the HR/Human Capital Management (HCM) space.

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION – Senior HRIS Analyst

Support Business Development/Pre-Sales

  • Conduct Compose demos to qualified leads

  • This is a client facing role with assigned responsibilities that will include acting as a primary/lead consultant on compensation projects

  • Superior communication skills, consultative and presentation skills with solid technical abilities to help lead client engagements

  • Possesses excellent client management skills that includes capturing of business requirements, providing options and sharing best practices with compensation processes as well as participating in BD discussions to deepen relationships  

  • Gain preliminary understanding of a prospects plans and needs to determine if COMPOSE would be a good fit

  • Understand and convey prospect requirements to developers if a configured demo is required

  • Contribute to RFPs for questions on implementations, support, system functionality

  • Contribute requirement details for contracts and SOWs

 

 

Support & Assist Implementation Team in Following:

  • Conduct an onsite kick-off to gather requirements, learn client plans and data

  • Document the detailed requirements in a Business Requirements Document and data template, and work with the client to obtain approvals

  • Project Management, including project plans, resource planning, time tracking

  • Internal testing of the configurations in a development environment

  • UAT environment setup, including training and documentation

  • Relationship Management for assigned clients

  • Work with IC team and Professional Services to document enhancement Change Request Documents and Statements of Work (SOW)

Qualifications Required:

  • 5+ years of HCM/compensation experience with Certified Compensation Professional or other compensation professional designations a plus and/or compensation consulting professional services experience

  • B2B SaaS based client service interface or equivalent education and experience and basic project management skills – financial services industry comp knowledge a plus

  • 5 years of application requirements gathering and design, including process mapping and gap analysis

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in education and experience required

  • Experience implementing or working with Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications software/HCM systems a plus

  • Detailed knowledge of standard compensation practices

  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training

  • Passion for customer service

  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills

  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Strong relationship building/networking skills

  • Highly motivated self-starter
